MY New House
hey everyone,
i havent been on in such a long time my comp has been down and i have been busy closing on my new home, im so happy i cant believe everyting has worked out, we closed las friday and have been non stop working on it all week,( we ripped down wood paneling and put up walls painted put in hi-hats next week we are refinishing the wood floors. its really coming along nicely) we move in tomorrow and i cant wait.....our home is in wantagh( on the wantagh bellmore border, our school district is North Bellmore if anyone has any info on the area(restaurants, bagel shops pizza, nails....i would love to hear your recs.....thanks

Congrats!!!
I can only recommend a pizza place over there b/c when DH used to live over there, we used to order from them all the time.
Super Pizza on Bellmore Avenue. It is one of the best I've ever tasted. Not the fanciest lookin' place........but GREAT pizza. LOL

 I was waiting for you to come on - and I didn't want to burst your bubble by posting it!!!
I had a dream last night (must have been because we got off the phone) that we drove around and I showed you all the good places to eat. We may have to do that once you get settled.
I am so happy for the both of you and can't wait to see all the work you've done so far!

 It has to be since your DH is planning a big bash that weekend! Tell him not to forget the extra package of hamburgers for the preggo girl!

Also, I used to work in Bellmore Village and LOVED Lee's Chinese. DH and I still go all the way there for Chinese food cravings.

i live in massapequa, but am in wantagh alot, i love slap happy bakery, its in the hemmingways shopping center
showa hibachi is amazing its next door to hemmingways
umm green catcus is really good on the corner of wantagh and jeruselum

Congrats -- we go to The Bayou a lot on Jerusalem.
Otherwise most of what I know is in Wantagh, Iavarone, Umbertos, New King Dragon, and a great nail place - DIna Nails - in Willowwood Shopping Ctr.
Also there is a Janovic on Jerusalem and Wantagh Ave. if you need BM paint - they are very helpful with colors and all.

Pizzelis on Newbridge road has great Pizza...Their crust is amazing.
Ginos on Jerusalem ave near Eckards and Dunkin donuts has really good food
Ibarones....Is the best for high quality Meats, cheeses, produce and fish....
Green Cactus is also in that shopping center
