Does any suffer from RLS?
Restless leg syndrome? I've seen this commercial for awhile now and I really think I suffer from this. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced it> If so, do take medication for it, has it helped?
TIA

I get it at night when I am laying down in bed... it's HORRIBLE! I don't get it EVERY night but I do get it. Sometimes I get up and walk around and then take a tylenol. That seems to help me for now.

YES...exactly. And it feels like bugs crawling on you. It drives me crazy some nights. Especially when I'm too tired to get up and walk it off.

OMG I get this ALOT! It gets me so frustrated...I can't lie still and I constantly need to move my legs. It's funny how I never thought it was an actual condition and couldn't explain it..I just thought I was "restless"..but it has happened to me in a movie theatre as well.

You know for a long time my mother and I kept telling everyone we get restless leg syndrome and everyone thought we were making it up. Then all of a sudden it is ACTUALLY a syndrome that has a medication now! It's the most annoying thing.
If you don't feel like getting up from bed, sometimes I just sit up and stretch towards my toes, that seems to help or I "rub" it out. It's SO annoying! I feel your pain ladies!

Re: Does any suffer from RLS?
DH has had it for a long time. When we were first dating and he told me about it, I just Now there's tons of commercials about it.
He doesn't take any type of meds for it. He's taking a lot for other things going on with him and doesn't want to add another one to the mix.

I have it - i haven't tried the medication - i notice it acts up more when my iron count is low - i dont eat red meat so that is often -- it also helps to elevate my eet- but i hate the creepy crawly feeling and it is hard to describe to others -

I don't mean to make light of this syndrome, but whenever Dh see those commercials he calls it "the jimmy-leg syndrome" (referring to the Seinfeld episode when Kramer dates a girl with RLS and calls it the jimmy leg)

Sometimes Dh refers to that too! Also, if we're watching tv and his legs are fine, as soon as the RLS commercial comes on, he says his legs are starting to twitch!
