Kitchen - any have
light cabinets and esp if you have black appliance - what do you have on your floor and can you post pictures? A friend of mine is looking for ideas.

We just moved into a house with white cabinets and black appliances - the floors are wood laminate.
I really like the way it looks.

Black appliances and pine cabinets- not too light, but not dark either.
we're doing black and white checkerboard vinyl floors.

Denise, we have light color cabinets and black appliances. We are putting on the agenda new silestone countertops in black soon, but for now there is some old ugly plastic looking ones. Our floor is tile. Not sure what kind - I'm bad at this. It's a light color too with a darker grout. In all honesty, I hate the tile, it shows all dirt and stuff. But we have no plans anytime soon to replace it.

we had white, we are phasing out the appliances and replacing them with SS - but the GE appliances I have are SS with some black in them.

We have oak cabinets with black appliances and our floor is horrible peel and stick white-ish/grey tile. I don't particularly care for it but it came with the house. I will say the color looks OK but we're intending to install oak flooring sometime soon.
