Baby Shower Question

Ok- so I work in an office that is all women. I am closer with some women than with other women, but am friendly with all of them. Its a relatively close knit department. I have put the women that I am closer with on my baby shower invite list, but didnt put everyone. There are some people who I dont want to invite- but I'm wondering if I should just put everyone on the list just so people's feelings dont get hurt. What do you think?

The reason why I ask is because something similar to this has happened in my deptartment before. A few of the ladies wanted to take 1 lady out to dinner for her birthday. Not everyone was invited and there was a huge uproar here- some of the people who werent invited were very very offended.

I too work in a close knit dept, and I am very close with soem but not all women. I chose only to invite those I was close with. I was upfront with them about my not inviting all the women. They kept it quiet.

Of the ladies I did not invite, I had my reasons, aside from not being close--I knew that 3 of the 4 I didn't invite would not come anyway.

Invite who you want to invite. I am not inviting everybody to mine.

i would say you should invite who you want to invite and who you are closest too - unless it is just a matter of one or two women who would be left out!
