Can someone tell me (possibly the biggest U2 fan ever) why they advertised for a week that Bono was the guest coach for the singers and then didn't show him AT ALL?

I just watched last night's episode.
Chris- is just so average. I have no idea what the judges were raving about tonight.
Melinda- The woman can sing. I don't always love her performance, but she's got the chops.
Blake- I don't think he sings that well. I also feel like he never connects to his lyrics and if you can't do that with the song Imagine you might as well quit now.
Lakisha- I think she maked really bad song choices. I don't however agree with Simon that she is screaming. The girl has a huge voice.
Phil- I liked him tonight. He was trying a bit too much to yank the heart strings, but still good.
Jordin- She needed to sing this down a step and it would have been amazing. She had some clunky notes and she was straining at the end, but I love her anyway.

Really?? I didn't even realize he was the guest coach!
They even mentioned it in the bit they do right before the show comes on. I am guessing Bono will be on tonight -- but I honestly don't think I'll be up for a 2 hour results show... even if there are tons of guest performances...

Totally agree.
They'd be nuts to send someone home during their huge charity show. I'm pretty sure that is the big surprise.

What happened to Lakeisha? I LOVED her in the beginning, but she seems to choose bad songs......I don't know....
Jordin is my top choice, with Blake behind her....Phil's not bad, but something about him annoys me...and Melinda's facial expressions gets on my nerves...but she CAN sing....that's for sure...
