BFN
Got my big FAT negative this morning. Have a feeling I 'knew' which is why I kept putting it off.
Had myself a grand ole pity party this morning for a couple of hours but now I'm ok. I really didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly but I was really excited at the prospect of a 'normal' cycle (had been on the pill for 9 years, pretty irregular prior to going on it).
Oh well.
I've resigned myself to either 1) getting my AF ( ) and beginning again or 2) giving it 1 more month and heading to the gyno (she told me to come back if I didn't get AF for 2-3 mos). I'm currently 18DPO (or at least 18 DP ovulation signs) and CD 32.
Thanks to all you guys for your and dances
to all those still in the game this month!

Re: BFN
I'm sorry you got a BFN! How long has it been since your last AF? I am on CD 57.. nothing yet and about 5 BFNs, LOL.. I *think* I may have ovulated yesterday, need to wait a few more days to see where my temps go, I started charting cause my cycle is so wacky. My OB/GYN also told me they don't worry unless you go 2-3 months without AF, but I am starting to worry, I am getting pretty close to it being 2 months..
to you!!

I am only on CD34 today but I'm concerned because I got all of the 'signs' that I ovulated back on CD 14 and started with AF symptoms on CD's 26 and 27; they started to dissipate around CD 29 and still nothing. I've been searching and searching for long luteal phase defects but only come up with problems with short ones
I'll just take tests 1x week until either I get AF or get back to the gyno end of next month.
Maybe you did ovulate a few days ago - that would be great!!

That's b/c there is no such thing as a long luteal phase defect per se. If there is a problem with onset of your cycle it is PCOS or some other ailment that is the culprit.

Were you using an OPK? I only ask because my first month I had Ovulation signs from days 12-14 but after charting & using OPKs in subsequent months i realized that it's highly unlikely that i ovulated that early. It's possible you actually ovulated way later than you thought and therefore you arent as "late" as you might think. as it turns out, I typically ovuate between CD 19-23. I would recommend you use an OPK next month so that you can see if the ovulation signs agree to the OPK. Also, you might want to try charting.

Thanks! I had the "signs" last week, but I just started charting again, and my temps did not go up after I saw the EWCM... when AF finally does come, I will give it another another cycle to see if this time was just fluke and if things go back to normal. I saw my OB/GYN on April 10th, so if I don't see AF by May 10th I am going to go back there.
Its crazy how our bodies do things we have no control over, isn't it?

I agree with you about the anovulation, or at least not having ovulated when I thought - I'm sure that's what it's going to wind up being but it just seems so odd that not only did that happen CD12-14 but right on cue CD26-28 I had my regular AF symptoms.
Your suggestion is actually my plan of attack - I'm hitting Target tomorrow to pick up OPK's and a basal body thermometer. Obviously there's something up and hopefully between charting and using OPK's I'll be able to figure out what that is.
Now I just need to get AF so I can start my plan
