Anyone get a faint line, then no line?
i took a test this morning(I was due thursday) and I saw the first line, and a faint second line. It didnt go away(test says negative goes away after 10 minutes).
anyways came home tonight and i test again and didnt see a second line.....
anyone get this before?

It could be that there was not enough hcg in your urine this afternoon. That is why you should use FMU because you have been holding it for at least 6 hours. If you drank a lot of water or recently urinated that could cause no line tonight. GOOD LUCK!

Was it the same brand of pregnancy test? Also FMU is best so that could be a factor.

the morning was first response.
The afternoon(holding it for like 4 hrs) was clear blue easy, and CVS digital.

I got faint lines on Dollar Tree tests 2 days in a row. The 2nd night I bought a digital to show DH (b/c I knew he would believe it based on the light line). That was negative. I would test again with FMU.

I would stick with the first response if it gave u the line. These tests all measue different levels of HCG hormone and will drive u crazy. When I first got my BFP the darkness of lines varied depending on the test.

tested with the second one from clear blue easy, saw a faint second line.
i think im going to pick up the dollar tree one for tomorrow morning, im still holding onto the second cvs ditigal for when i get a stronger line.

I was told digitals take a lot longer than others to pick up the hormone!!!
I'm thinking congrats are in order!!!

argghh, im so frustrated now, went out and got the dollar tree tests, did 2 of them, both very faint second line, but yet the other line is sooo bold.
this is driving me nuts, i should have had my friend on thursday. I had a m/c 2 months ago and the doctor told me regular cycle from when i was done with the m/c part, and it was 28 days on the dot, now this second one is not coming, yet i saw the cm symptoms for ovulation so i know it should have hapened already.... and we tried so much durring the better times.
eta- last time i got pregnant three days before my friend was due i tested with a digital in the morning and got a positive- then again that night and got a positive....

If you got a line you are PG. The shade of the second line doesn't matter. Nor does the shade of a line on a prior PG matter.

Unfortunately, that's not always true.
Sometimes with the faint line that comes and goes it can indicate a chemical.
Emily, I hope you see lots of bold lines soon!!!

My second line was really faint until about 30DPO. I tested 7 times, each one got ever so slightly darker. I didn't notice they were getting darker until I lined them up. Then, I might've been thinking they were getting darker. Mommies have sensitive eyesight.
