Luteal Phase (LP) is 'the two week wait (2WW)'. It's the time after ovulation, before your next period, when the egg either implants if fertilized (pregnancy) or does not implant causing the uterine lining to shed (menses).

It can be short - like 8 days, in which case there is a luteal phase defect - or long like 16 days. Every woman is different, but within each woman the luteal phase is the same length.

I gte my pd 14-15 days after ov...i have only charted it for 2 months jan and march...feb I had an ectopic and it messed everything up, i got my period every 25 days, usually i am 34...so we will see what happens in the futre, hopefully no AF
