what do you do..my mom is doing something that I really dont agree with. It is not illegal (obviously) LOL but I really dont like certain actions she is taking. We are very close and she is a good person and I have told her that I disagree with her behavior regarding the situation and if she continues to do it I do not want to hear one word about it. I feel bad that I hafta basically cut the situation off b/c we rso close yet I am really disappointed in her behavior. Honestly the person at the end of the day who will get hurt is her--and I have warned her of this therefore I dont wanna hear it..sigh..

Re: When you disagree with your mom?
well, i'm very close with my mom too and i'm trying to imagine what i would do. i think i would have to let my mom go with her gut. i've always trusted my mom and her decisions and she's usually the one i turn to when i'm confused. so i would probably let her do what she wants and then just be there for her if it didnt work out.

Re: When you disagree with your mom?
I'm really close with my mom, and I just try to lend an ear and be as supportive as she would be of me. I'm lucky in that there is nothing I felt was dangerous or truly disagreed with, but I try to be encouraging or discouraging. Actually, she usually listens to me as I do her. There were a couple of wedding issues that we disagreed on, and we decided we would agree to disagee, and did not discuss any further.

Re: When you disagree with your mom?
I'm very close with my mom as well. But usually when we get into situations like this - and most of the time it's me doing something that she disagrees with (Oh, like moving to England, LOL!) - I just avoid the subject with her. It does hurt that there are a few subjects we can't talk about...but it hurts more to talk about it...
