Any Snowboarders out there???

I will be trying it for the first time this winter. Just bought myself a CUTE outfit too. Just need goggles. Can't decide on what to do with a board. Do I rent first or buy one?

Any tips and Suggestions of what to be in for,,,,I am so excited!

I used to snowboard. It is the BEST!!!!
I wouldn't buy a board just yet, see if you like boarding first. It's very easy to rent the board/boots at the mountain.

That's our thought too, but we might go for a week and at that point, could be close to buying one after the rental costs.

I snowboard and I have a Burton. If you have time you should try to go up to VT in October and go to a tent sale. You will be able to get a board, bindings and boots on sale.

Good thing you are going for a week, that is the best way to learn. You will be beat up but it is worth it. It took me a week and then all of a sudden something clicks! So don't give uP!

yeah I hear to not give up and then you just find yourself doing it.

I am hoping to try it before the week long end of the year, so I have an idea if I like it and could then buy it.

I would definately rent for the first few time you go.
