Any snowboarders here?
I've always rented when I went snowboarding, bit it's just such a pain in the a$$.
I told my mom that for Christmas I wanted a snowboard, and now she needs to know which one I want.
Which board do you have? Any suggestions?

Re: Any snowboarders here?
I DO!! I DO!! and I LOVE IT!!! I have 2 Burton Feelgood boards. If you're just starting out I recommend staying on the lower side of expense (it can get VERY expensive!) If you go to a reputable snowboard shop and they have decent people working there (that know their stuff and not just trying to sell you the most expensive board) then I suggest you go and talk to someone. There are SO many different boards and they are all made differently for different things (also girl and guy boards). Your height and weight will play into it. If you're buying the whole set up then it's good to get it at a place and have them set everything up for you.
It's really all personal preference. I LOVE my Burton's but some people like other company's better.

Thanks! I've been looking online and found a burton and a k2 that I really liked. I guess i'll just show her pics and tell her to go to the stores with them.
I'm not sure if she's getting me the bindings and boots depending on how much the board costs.
Im gonna go check out the feelgood now.

Re: Any snowboarders here?
I LOVE my feelgoods!
Unfortunately my boards are going to be staying right where they are this winter because I'm preggers and I can't go It's my 1st winter in a LONG time not going.
K2's are really good too. Check out Ride Boards.
I like Feelgoods because they give you a little of everything and they're a good riding board as well as a trick board. I found them to be really felxible and REALLY accomodating to my style.
