Another Countrywide Question
Did any of you not have to provide all the typical information for the loan such as W2s, bank statements, etc. The man we are dealing with said that we will not have to show any of that and I want to make sure that is legit.
Thanks!

Re: Another Countrywide Question
We had to provide last 2 years tax returns with W2. All lenders will require this unless you are going with a no income check loan. We also had to provide 2 months of bank statements.
PS..We ended up not going with Countrywide.

Re: Another Countrywide Question
Yes, I think that is what they called it a no income loan. I wonder why they suggested that. Hmmmm...........any idea why?

Do you have your own business or work off comission? Sometimes if you have a lot of income coming in from all different sources that is not consistent each year, they will recomend the no doc loan because its a lot less paperwork. If you are going to be doing this though, your credit score has to be really high.

Re: Another Countrywide Question
we did a "stated income" loan, and still had to show bank statements.
(we did it because I had recently started my own business, and didn't have W2s accurately reflecting my income, since I was self employed)
