Had a meeting with Dr. Brenner...now I have decisions to make
So I met with Dr. B since iui#3 is coming up soon and he wanted to discuss "plan B" if this iui doesn't take.
He have me three options:
-start the next cycle with injectables
-a laproscopy
-go onto ivf
So far, I think I'm at least going to give the injectables a try, but I'm going to apply for the IVF grant like tomorrow!
My questions
....who went down this path?
....what is involved in applying for this grant?
....when do you get an answer on whether or not you are approved for this grant?
Now, I come on this board every day, talk with people and give and take advice when I can, but to hear him say it out loud made IVF real to me. I didn't even think we'd have to go down this road, but he said that if I wanted to we can start this for the next cyle.
It was too late to call the Lake Success office to get the info on the grant, so I'm asking if any of you have had to apply, what did it involve.
I am confused, but I am also not giving up on this third iui.
ETA: know, now...I can't even spell!!

I did IVF with Long Island IVF. Fortunately my insurance paid so i didn't need the grant. Good Luck to you!!!!

I also am doing IVF with LI-IVF but insurance covers it....Call the billing department tomorrow and I am sure they will explain everything to you. They are very good about that there.

I wasn't able to apply for the grant, but I know there is someone that specifically handles it and I believe she works out of the Lake Success office.

I can't help with the IVF grant. Search dm24angel's posts and look for grant, she did it and is now pregnant with her baby boy 
Just wanted to say good luck to you with this 3rd IUI.
