Birth Story of Taylor Ann

Ok, well, its a little late, my princess was born on March 7th, but the first time I wrote the birth story, I wound up getting logged out and am only getting a chance to wrtie this now....I am a detailed writer, just so you are warned in advance....

My pregnancy has been a little rough due to the fact that I was in the middle of wedding planning when I found out we were preggo, I also was diagnosed with high blood pressure, so my dr scheuduled me for twice as many appts as with any normal pregnancy and I had growth sonos every 3 weeks.

Due to the BP issue, my dr scheduled an induction 1 week prior to my due date, which was fine with me, I was able to plan a little better.
Went in for my normal appt on tuesday the 6th and was told to go home and get ready b/c the other dr was at the hospital and he was expecting me at 330 for the cervadil.
Crap....I still didnt even pack my hospital bag yet...I made my mom drive me to CVS to get pads and some other necessities that I might want while I was at the hospital, then went home and packed.
DH came to pick me up at 3, we went to Huntington Hospital, checked in and went up to Labor and Delivery. I was put in a room, given a gown and they explained they were hooking me up to the monitor to watch the baby and also to a blood pressure machine which took my BP every 15 minutes. The dr was in surgery so another dr came in to see me and asked a few questions and told me they needed to keep watching the baby. Turns out, they were a little worried b/c the baby's heart rate went down for a period of time. Once it was back up the dr came in and inserted the Cervadil around 7pm. It would have helped if I knew you couldn't eat, drink or move once they put it in.
Dr came back in at 9 and said the cervadil didn't do much, so they gave me an I.V. some food and then an ambien and told DH to be back at 7am the next morning.
I was up at 6am the next morning, the nurse told me to get cleaned up and I waited for DH to arrive. We saw the dr at around 7:30, and the petosin was added to my I.V., we spent the whole morning watching bad tv (Maury, Springer, etc).
Dr came back in around 11 and said she didnt like the way the baby was responding to the petosin and she wanted to prepare for a c-section. I was completely fine with it b/c all the dr's seemed to be prepping me for the possiblity of a c/s due to height, I guess they were worried about the delivery.
Well, the anesthesiologist came in to discuss what he was going to do, then the nurse went through the whole procedure. Once they left, the onset of emotions flooded over me and I began crying hysterically b/c I was worried about the pain of theanesthesia. I thought the insertion of the I.V. the night before was painful enough and that was in my hand!
Now for the gross part--they gave me an enema!! It was gross, not to mention the fact that I had to haul butt to the bathroom with the nurse carrying my I.V. in tow.
We had to wait a little while for the assisting dr to arrive at the hospital, but once she got there, they brought me in, gave me the shots, laid me down and then had DH come in, put the curtain up and at 1:18pm on March 7th, I received the gift I had been yearning for....a 6lb, 19 inch beautiful little girl!
I spent the next 4 days recovering in the hospital, I was in a semi-private room but never had a roommate, the staff was amazing and I was taken care of extremely well.
I could go on and on...but its time for the next feeding!!
