Honestly, I kept thinking, I NEED to flat iron my hair or else it is going to be out of control 
That shower right before the pitocin was so relaxing...I did not want to get out
I am getting inspired to put on waterproof make up for the DD.

I gave myself a good blowout the morning of my c-section, I did not want to hate the pics of me I wonder if back in the days of the pioneers, did they ever think women would be primping for post birth pics?

That's a great story! I'm so happy to hear things turned out well. I can't wait to see more pictuers of baby Mikayla! She's beautiful and I wish you, your DH and new baby a very long, happy life together.
