I JUST NEED TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'm just hormonal.
I had a horrible day at work. After busting my butt to get there this afternoon, everybody was already gone because they got sent home early. Long story short, I had to work overtime to get everything done. God forbid the pregnant woman gets some help!
So, fast forward to my drive home.....after 1am. My car gets stuck on my own road!!!!!! So, here I am trying to dig my car out (without a damn shovel because we stupidly only borrow the shovel from our, now sleeping, landlords!) at nearly 2 in the morning. Doesn't budge!!!! I am in freakin' tears, praying that nobody hits my car. DH is getting home around 6:30am and he says he can fix it.
I seriously am having a breakdown!!!

I was out there because I was trying to get home from my crappy job. You're right, tomorrow's another day!!! Poor DH is having a horrible night at work too. Thank God we're off for the next 2 days!!
Has anybody else had the moment where they felt they just might kill somebody?? Please share some stories as I need a good laugh.

Re: *^%$&$#%@$*&%^*&$
oh no! i am SO sorry this happened to you. Please don't try digging your car out alone again - its NOT safe/healthy for a pregnant woman. Thats not being hormonal - i'd have been p'd off too even w/o hormones!!! You were a trooper to go in when no one else was - my advice for next time is either don't go - put yourself first OR call ahead and make sure you won't be there alone - its not fair to you!!! I"m glad you got home safe.

How did it go? Did DH help when he got home? If we have bad weather again, you really need to have them figure out a way that YOU are not the one driving home at 1am on such a crappy night. It's not safe for anyone, much less a preggo!!

Sadly enough, I'm still up. Yes, as soon as DH came home he grabbed my keys and went to town on the car. Now it's actually parked on the side of the street, not *in* the street. I love him so!!
But, I'm still waiting for stories from you girls as you wake up!! Because now am I not only pi$$ed and hormonal, but now I'm sleep deprived.

Re: *^%$&$#%@$*&%^*&$
am trying to think of a frustrating story for you a couple of years ago i parked my small car on my street a few houses away, and we went out with DH car. As we drive down our street on the way home, I realize my car has been "pushed" and left in front of a fire hydrant almost on a slant and there was a huge $150 summons on the window !!!
i called the cops thinking someone took my car for a joy ride etc... they said no and told me to dispute the charge. I took a couple of hours from work to go to municipal bldg. and was told they wouldn't even reduce my fine because i had no proof that i did not leave my car there!!! i was furious!!! I would NEVER do that. $150, stress for doing NOTHING wrong. I was the victim.
Brooklyn street parking is INSANE.
