those who temp
quick question.. once you see the spike in your temp..that means you've ovulated already right? then you are just BDing every other day BEFORE that day? Also, if you are not pregnant will your temps drop after ovulation? TIA

If you see a spike in your temp and it stays above the coverline for 3 days after you can safely say you O'd.
i always bd'd before, the day of and the day after to be safe.
Your temp could begin to drop as progesterone decreases which signals your uterus to shed the lining if you are not pg and get your period.
For me, my temp never dropped largely or significantly until the day i got AF.

Re: those who temp
A spike might mean ovulation. Generally speaking the temp has to stay above the coverline for three days. There are things that can affect temps - like alcohol, or illness, or not enough sleep - which will give you a single day spike that doesn't = O.
As for BD'ing . . . the "recommendation" is every other day starting at the end of AF.
As for temp dropping . . . mine doesn't until the day AF arrives.
