It's not an option for us, but I know that my RE and the ones here around the Gulf Coast of the US are alot cheaper for IVF. My friend that went thru Columbia and spent all her money is kicking herself for not even thinking of trying down here before she moved instead.
I didn't know if financially doing IVF in Florida or a place like that would be alot better for some people who are scared of the price for it in the NE?
My Doc told me he gets alot of people from the NE who have great success because they can treat there treatment like a mini vacation and try to relax. (Note, when I say relax I mean they take time off from family and friends, go on vacation mood and get a bit of a tan... not since they relax the process is easier...kind of more like a babymoon trip fitting doctor's appointments around a vacation rather then around a work schedule... just wanted to add that disclaimer I don't want to offend anyone)
I really don't know all that much about the process but I figured I'd mention that the prices vary. I know I never thought of that before plus the laid back friendly office staff atleast at my office is great
