Wondering IVF ?

Are there any questions i should ask when i get my fertility report today that would help me understand the quality and how they are progressing? I know there is a grading systme but i am not sure what it is and what is good and what is not! Any help before I get the call later today would be great!

I was told that I had Grade 1 embies...which is good...as the numbers get higher the quality is lower, I believe.

i didn't know the grades of my embryos. i didn't ask, i figured they were going to put the best out of the lot back. i'm really bad like that, maybe too trusting.

I thought I read somewhere that each clinic grades differently. When I asked the RE the quality of the ones they transferred he said one AA and one BB whatever that means. Keep us updated Amy!!!

Ask how many cells and what is the fragmentation - high, low, normal?

You want a lot of cells (over 5) and low to normal fragmentation....

But things can change between now and when you do the transfer - thye may just tell you now how many fertilized.
