about the pop singer who was actuially lip synching and would turn the music industry upside down if the world ever found out???
i STILL think of this to this day.

I know, she's been singing since forever. But just because she sang as a child doesn't mean that her voice stayed good enough. The way I see it, whoever this person is they still sing way better than I do (which is horribly) - but they're just not amazing. I'm thinking they'd make a solid background singer but their look put them in the foreground.
I didn't think Britney at all in the beginning - I was thinking more along the lines of Mandy Moore or Hillary Duff - but I don't think either of them are big enough to shake up the music industry or whatever it was the article originally said.
ETA: JLo is another good suggestion.

I don't think it would be someone like Britney or J.Lo only because they haven't done anything outstanding or award winning and the blind item said it would turn the music industry inside out... I would have to assume it's someone HUGE and that's been around for a while.

I don't think it's Brittney or JLo either because they both sound horrible. If you're going to lip sync, I would expect it to sound good

Agreed! I don't think Britney can sing at all when its live. I thought she sounded terrible. For that matter, and this in only MY opinion, I don't think she can sing at all and wonder how the heck she made it.
