What do you think?

I am a regular poster on this site but I have family on here and don't want them to know til it's time. DH and I are TTC #2 and it is much harder this time than it was last time.

Right now I am on CD9. Last month I got a +OPK on CD10. I know we weren't diligent about BDing for the 3 nights in a row due to work schedules and I am attributing this month's AF to that.

Now this month DH is going away for the weekend on Friday, which will be CD12. Lets imagine I don't get a +OPK til Friday. If we BD that day and then not again until Sunday night, do you think that will be okay?

I really want it to happen this month. We've been "trying" for 5 months now and I've already decided that if it doesn't happen this time that I am going to the doc to make sure there is nothing wrong.

Re: What do you think?

Last month we BD on Monday night, skipped Tuesday, and BD wednesday night. i am fairly certain that i ovulated in the morning and we BD at around 11pm. Needless to say, I am still here. so I think that it will all depend on when you ovulate, how viable his sperm is, how long your egg lasts.... I think its too hard to tell, there are so many variables. Can it happen anyway though? sure....

Not your original question, but before you go running to the MD check your insurance coverage. This kind of thing is only covered after you've been trying for 12 months if you are under 35, and after 6 months of trying if you're over 35. Also, because you are working on #2 the length of time you've been trying might also come into the equation when insurance decides whether or not to cover it. (not trying to be a downer or discourage you from going to the MD, but you don't want to get hit with a bill that is Chat Icon )
