Lynbrook?
DH and I have opened up our search and liked East Rockaway but (from my other post) if there are no basements we can't move there. How are the school and basements in Lynbrook?

I grew up in East Rockaway and went to the Lybrook schools. They were pretty good. I turned out OK

Lynbrook Schools are excellent - District 20 is one of the best in Nassau County. I saw a really affordable house in Lynbrook on MLSLI....
Let me see if I can find it

We recently moved to Lynbrook - closed in September, but just moved in January. We LOVE it here! We have the most wonderful neighbors and it is so great! The schools are wonderful - ds isn't ready for a few more years but we feel confident that he will get the best educ possible in public school here.

Lynbrook is by far the better school district, if your looking at Lynbrook vs ER (I grew up in ER). There are some areas of ER that go to Lynbrook schools, and there are also areas of Lynbrook that are in the ER school district.
