what should i ask for for my Birthday?
I told DH i just wanted him to plan an awesomely romantic evening.  So, naturally, i have to give him a Plan B 
i feel bad, b/c he was going to get me an I-pod... and he kept 'feeling it out', but i dont really need one- i just listen to music on my computer at home & work; i dont exercise (clearly ).. so i didnt think i'd get that much use out of it to pay that much $$$
i suggested a surround sound sytem- so we could both enjoy it... but thats not exactly sentimental.
so Im stumped (and so is he... poor guy  ).
i already have too many clothes & shoes, i dont want any expensive bags... i'm pretty boring 
is there anything cool or differnt out that i have no clue about???

Have you seen the iPod Nano? Its soooooo small. Its nice.
My co-worker had one and brought it in. I can't even believe how small it was. It would fit in that smaller jeans pocket (you know the one that sits inside one of the front pockets).

that's what inspired him he thought it looked really cool.... the only thing is... the memory is only 2 gigs (& theres the 1 w/ 4 gigs)... but for the extra $100 you can get 20 gigs (eventhough its bigger in size, it just seems more worth it).

I'm going to a bachelorette party at a strip club this weekend though- so that will already be taken care of  (kiddinggggggg)

You can get a good 800 songs onto a 4GB iPod. If you want more songs on there... you can reduce the quality of the files to 96k. A good quality setting that you probably won't notice by ear... but will allow you to store anywhere between 20-40% more songs on there.
Anything over 10GB is just overkill IMO.
I am a DJ so think of how many songs I must have. I couldn't even think of wanting to listen to more than 400 at a time.
I get bored and want to change.
