Where did you get your valances/top treatments
DH and I know pretty much exactly what we want. A tan and blue (but blue blue, not teal blue) wide plaid or stripe, and we are having SUCH a hard time finding this. We have tried JCPenney, BBB, LNT, SMith & Noble, Country Curtains...
any other ideas? I have even started looking for fabric that I could (attempt) to make my own. Any good fabric store recommendations?

the fabric mill is great (a bit pricey, but I found has the largest selection).

not sure if this is style that you want but jcpenney has a silk blend light blue and tan plaid valance.

I would try Marburn..they are hit & miss but the prices are great.

I got cute plaid valances for our TV room at Marburn. They are red and tan but I'm sure they have other colors.
I got my valances in our BR and LR at JC Penney and the ones in the guest room at Target.
