Painting while TTC?

I have been painting my bathroom this week and also I am ttc. I got a positive opk yesterday and the day before. Do you think its bad that I am painting? Will it lessen the chances of me getting pg this cycle?

i never heard of that interefering, but it can be a great reason to get out of doing it! the fumes can't be good!

I wish..but DH sliced his finger yesterday and had to go the hospital to get it sutchered up. So its just me.

I don't think painting would have any affect on TTC. if you are concerned though, wear a mask.

I don't think it will be harmful while TTC. You should be fine. While pregnant, that could be a different story. Today is a nice day so if you paint you could open a window a bit.

Also, just FYI, if you want to avoid the paint smell and chemicals you breathe in in the future, Benjamin Moore makes a low VOC paint--less smell/chemicals and eco-friendly. I've used it and it went on nicely plus it has been holding up just the same as the other BM paint I've used. You could hardly smell the stuff.
