It's so tough because while I'm trying to be happy for the eighty people (ok, exaggerating) in my life who all of a sudden are pregnant, I can't help but be sad. The latest is a girl who I trained for a marathon with - she said she wanted to wait to ttc until summer - well, guess what? She "decided" to try after New Year's & just found out she is pg!! I know I am being horrible, but I can't help but feel sad tonight

I know the feeling. It feels like it happens for everyone else and while I can be genuinely happy for them, I do feel sad at times. I feel like I waited so long to be married. I out and out refused to have a child without being married. Now that I am, it feels like I am waiting even longer to have a child. I have wanted to be a mother for as long as I can remember.

Me too - I did not get married until I was 33 & I did not want to jump & get pg - although now, part of me wishes I had started trying sooner..

Two women that I work with over 40 and got pregnant naturally. One had been married for years...tried IVF etc. with her ex-husband and nothing..started dating after and got pregnant. SO you never know..Good luck!!!  :

I am 35 and also feel a little envious when people are pregnant- but I know my turn will come. I also got married at almost 34.
