With All the BFP
I wasn't going to post that I'm out for this month, but I'm not handling it well on my own. I've been trying to be pragmatic and rational like Leslie, but with each passing month of BFN, the reality that this may never happen is getting closer, (to quote Leslie - DH & I are old farts) and with each BFN I realize how much it means to me.

Stay positive...I was told to get drunk and just have a fun night with dh which is what we are doing this month..lol..

I'm so sorry. Don't give up and don't stress out! I know if must sound obnoxious, but it WILL happen, it's just a matter of when. Have you been trying for a long time? My doctor told me to come in after 6 months if I still wasn't pg. Maybe there is something they can help you with. I will keep you in my prayers. Please let me be here for you because you were there for me!

I think sometimes you just need to let go and just go with the flow...it will happen for you, you'll see! In the meantime, theres no room for negativity! Stay strong AND positive!!!!!!!! Lots of for next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I know anyone who would be the most excellent parents, it would be you and your DH. The love that you have for each other is undeniable. When you have children, and you WILL have children, that love will pass on to them and they will be blessed. You are right, each BFN just sucks. It isn't easy to stay positive and practical, but this is the hand that I was dealt. We have no choice but to handle it the best way we know how.
I don't think either one of us chose to get married at the ages we were married, but we were. It was very important to me to be married when I have my children just as I think it was for you. So if it means we have to join the senior center next to the "Mommy and Me classes," then we will do it together!!! If our husbands use canes to hit a baseball with our kids, then so be it. You arent alone! OLD FARTS RULE!!!

Thanks for the encouragement. My GYN gave me a very specific timeline for TTC and when to panic and call him for an appointment (which occurs with one more BFN). I just spent 1/2 hour on the phone with my insurance company to make sure my GYN's timeline matches my coverage, which made me feel a little better.

I know how you feel and we haven't even started ttc yet.. we sourta did the 'not so careful' route... and nothing for 9 years!
