temping when your sick

(sorry so long)
temping this time has been a nightmare. I have been sick all week and trying to get an accurate reading is so hard.

1. the other morning I couldn't breathe out of nose so I had to keep my mouth open when i took my temp.

2. I've been waking up earlier than my alarm and have thought that I would fall back to sleep after 45 minutes of not fallling asleep I just end up taking the temp.

3. Coughing...I can't leave the thermometer in long enough without having to cough!

so needless to say my chart has been all over the place this week and I am on CD 15 and getting ready to O. Should I count the temps for this week invalid?

This happened to me last month. I pretty much had to guess my ovulation based on CM. It was a pain. If it's not too late for you, I would use OPKs to get a better idea of when you O. Especially, if you are taking medications that may affect your CM (making it difficult to read).
I think my illness delayed my ovulation too.

I'm definitely not an expert on this, but I wouldn't pay too much attention to the temps. Are you checking CM? That really helped me this month. I used OPKs too so I could be as sure as possible. Good luck and feel better!

I wouldn't delete the temps or ignore them, but make a note in the notes section of the special circumstances of each am.

I would go though on your CM, and if you check your cervix position, i would go on that too. Also, i would use an OPK if you know when you normally O.

thanks I have also been using the fertility monitor and haven't gotten a surge yet. So i'll just go by that.
