Registering
I need to start my registry. Can someone post things that should be on the "must have" list for the registry? I live in Manhattan so I don't have the space to overdo it, but I want to make sure to get what I need. For instance, I don't know if I need the wipe warmers and the bottle warmers and a lot of other things. Also someone told me either the swing or the bouncy chair is a MUST!

Re: Registering
I didn't register for the wipes warmer either- I read somewhere that they can be a fire hazard and I'm also trying to be minimalist, since her room is small, and so is our house!
We did register for a bottle/food warmer.
As for "must haves"- I think in considering things like sheets, mattress pads, hooded towels, changing pad covers, burp cloths, etc. you should think about how often you want to do laundry vs. how much space you have and let that determine how many of each you register for. I registered for 3 hooded towels, for example, but one of my friends had 6-7.
I also registered for a lot of stuff in kits- one with baby meds, one with grooming items, a bathtime one, a first aid kit. This way it saves me time in trying to get these things individually, and all these things come in their own cases, which will make storing easier.
