well #1 is Amityville schools (which isn't good at all so I'd stay away).
The rest are nice. I love both areas!!

The 2 levitt houses are in great areas - both are Salk and Mac Arthur Schools - The Blue Levitt ranch is on Sunrise lane.
To get there take wantagh lane and turn down Sunrise lane.
Take sunrise lane down - Pass green lane and that house will come up on the right hand side.
I live in that area.....Great neighborhood

The school taxes make them higher I believe. Levittown has a really good SD that most people don't realize. The North side of Levittown is lower in taxes, but it's mainly because it's the Division HS which is a lot different than MacArthur.

I know, i noticed that too in levittown. The house prices aren't bad but then you have to pay $750 in taxes per month!

I researched like every school district in long island almost and stay away from amityville, some parts of massapequa are in the massapequa districts, thats why those houses are more! I am buying my first house in West Islip. We also looked in West Babylon and parts of Lindenhurst. Taxes are reasonable and good school districts.

house #1 is in east mass- which is not the greatest school dist./ neighborhood..
house #2 is super tiny -- I saw it.
house #3 looks nice
There is another house in Mass. tht is a great price - it is on Philadelphia -- they are asking $410k and are flexible, but the house needs work if you are willing to do it!

my BIL's mortgage payment on his house is $50 more a month than that

That would be me.
Well, we have been in contract negotiations for FIVE WEEKS
They have missing COs, mystery oil tank, and a leak in the basement. The house is being sold by a relocation company.
We havent walked b.c we really dont have anything else going on, but we are still looking.

Levittowns taxes may be high but the star discount is high too - We get $1396 off our taxes. Levittown also has free Pools in the area - for every levittown resident. I have a pool within 3 blocks from my house

i pretty much agree with what some of the others said - east mass in amityville sd and they are not so good
the other mass houses are adorable and the levitt houses are nice
