Need to get my wisdom teeth out asap
The other day, I started to feel pain and pressure on my back wisdom tooth. I don't know what to do, can I get an appointment like this week?
I am moving into my fertile period this week. Can I have this done? What about the anesthesia?
Updated: saw oral surgeon today and schduled to have wisdom teeh out feb 8th. I will need to be put under because part of my jaw bone is affected by one of the teeth.
I'm having all 4 removed at once.
Talked to my gyn, and no TTC for me until next month.

Personally, I think you will be fine but if you are really concerned, ask your dentist or your GYN. They would be the ones who could probably answer best.

i would get it done as quickly as possible then. you don't want to bother with it while you are pregnant.

i agree with goldi, ask your gyno and dentist, but if i were you i would go ahead and get it done as soon as possible. you wouldn't want to be in your early first trimester, when all the major organs form, and have to have this procedure. if you do conceive this month, better to get the procedure over with pre-implantation. jmo.

Im calling the dentist in the morning. Hopefully, I can get the two uppers out this week. Why didnt I do this last year?

tell me about it. i had one of mine taken out 7 years ago, knowing that i would probably have to get them all out at some point. WHY did i not do them all at once?!? sometimes i can't believe the stupid decisions i make

Get them out asap.
As far as TTCing this month, talk to the doctors.
You certainly dont want to find out you are PG and have to get them out if they get infected or anything without anesthesia.
I got mine out 2 months before we started TTCing.

Thanks everyone. The tooth feels fine today, but that's not to say that it wont bother me or get infected down the road. I'm putting in a call to my obgyn tomorrow also, to see what she advises about TTC this month.
Its better to be safe than sorry.
Ill find out more in the morning.
