How to announce the sex
Creative ways??
I read on another forum one cute way:
They threw a party and had everyone guess the sex by picking either a pink or blue balloon. Inside the ballon they stuck a piece of paper that said if their answer was right or wrong. At the same time everyone popped their balloon and found out the sex.
I thought this was cute.
My mom is kinda bummed that we will be finding out so I want to make it a special fun surprise for her.
Any ideas?

My friend did somethign similar with Chocolate lolipops. She made pink bears & blue bears. The tip of the stick inside the pop said if the person chose correctly or not. It was funny to see us all trying to get to their stick first
ETA: Another option she was exploring was with pink & blue fortune cookies with the message revealing if it was a correct choice.

These are both cute ways. It's funny, I was going to post about this soon too. DH's family lives around here, and mine doesn't. We want creative ways to tell his family here and my family (esp. my mom) via phone, and right away b/c I won't be able to wait after the Level II to spill the beans!!

We announced it at our baby shower with mugs saying "it's a boy" that everyone opened at the same time. Before that we had everybody guessing for 4 months! it was a 50/50 split. Right before we did an old wive's tale quiz.
it was a unique and fun way to share at the shower...

Bring her with you the day you find out..
DH and I brought our moms with us to our big sono... we all found out together- it was so exciting, plus it was fun for them to see the baby in action on the sono screen!

We announced our pregnancy on Christmas Day and announced the gender on Easter. We brought a cake and had the bakery write "It's A Boy" on it. 
Everyone loved it.

My SIL wasn't able to find out at her first level ll ...the whole family was over and we were all anxiously waiting. However, their plan was to stop by dunkin donuts on the way home and pick up either plain round donuts for a girl, and the donut sticks for a boy. Lol. They ended up bringing a mix of both anyway..i thought her idea was cute.
