What can you see at a 5wk sono?
I've had some spotting, had 2 blood tests 48 hrs apart (HCG levels went from 3733 to 7079, which I think is ok), but the Dr. wants to do a sono tomorrow when I am 5 weeks. Will we be able to see anything besides the sac? Will there be a heartbeat?

i dont think you'll see much, maybe a sac or fetal pole, but i think thats it, if even that

All i saw was a sac at that time.
Both pg's i saw heartbeats 6 weeks early 7 weeks.

I saw a bubble at my 5w4d sono. After about 20 minutes of searching, the tech found a little blip for the heartbeat, but that was with a brand-new sono machine that was very high-res.
