Bedding
I picked out these two. The first if its a girl.....the second if its a boy....
Is the second too girlish? Or Ok for a boy?
Now Will ANY color crib, furniture look ok? Or a certain wood better? Im not good imaging these things at all.

Re: Bedding
not too girlish at all, and I am not sure it would look AS nice against a lighter wood.

Re: Bedding
I think they're great! The second is fine for either gender and would be fine with a light colored crib or a dark stained one.

Re: Bedding
i love your choices. I can see the 2nd being a girls but then again--its dragonflies and its green so yes...I say it can be a boys/.
I got a pink toile and chenille set and Ii am getting a sage green toile if its a boy in all honesty-if its not pink and its a neutral color who cares..thats how I feel. i am not a animal themed persoon either. i like classical. I like your choices...and boys like bugs!

Re: Bedding
I like them both.
I do think they will both look better with darker wood.

Re: Bedding
I'd like to add that I just showed both beddings to DH and he said both are great - he particularly liked the dragonflies one and said it's completely gender neutral.
He also wears pink shirts with his suits all the time and said the pink floral bedding is very pretty.

Re: Bedding
I like both choices, and I also think that the dark wood in the photos looks good with the bedding. But you could also go with a honey-colored wood or a white, especially for the first choice.
Most baby stuff has a sort of "gentle" look, so I can see why some folks might associate that gentleness with girly-ness, BUT the sage green seems perfectly appropriate for a boy.

Re: Bedding
I love them both & considering that the trim on the windows is white & looks fine, I think any colour crib would do well.
Great bedding!
