nah I think you will still get gifts, just maybe not what you need.
The things like strolers, etc...I want what I picked out, which is the point of registering, but Im sure if you dont people will buy ifts anyway.

Having just spent 2 hours wandering BRU trying to guess what one of DHs colleagues might need I have to say yes it's annoying.
And even with as well as my family knows me, I wanted to pick out the pattern on the stuff myself, as I'm not into the cutesy bears and stuff a lot of baby stuff seems to be.

I finally registered last night. For me, the problem was more of not knowing what to register for than not wanting to do it.
Luckily, some wonderful LIF girls let me peek at their registrys to get an idea of what i need

I'd register (well, I DID, but you know what I mean ) people don't have to buy your stuff off of it, but it is a nice guide for people to know what you need. I always like a registry to help pick out what people need vs. what I would THINK they need.
