I am FUMING!!!!!!

This morning I woke up super early so I could go for my glucose tolerance test before work. I get to the lab with my sheet, fill out all of the papers and tell the tech what I was there for. He then asks if I have an appointment and I told him no as the recording didnt state I needed one for the 1 hour. He tells me that my doctor has ordered the three hour gtt. I said "oh ok so then I guess we'll do the three hour test. Can you do it or do I need an appt?" He says "Oh we could totally do it being that she told you that it was a 1 hr. test but marked 3 hr. test I'd rather not do it and it's too early to call the doc".

So who am I supposed to beat up because I lost an extra hour of sleep???

I would ticked at the dr!

My Dr did the something similiar to me with DD. I took the am off from work, went to the lab at 7am for the fasting glucose test, starving!! Well the damn nurses never marked off which test on the form, they gave me a blank form with my name on it.

I was livid, hungry, thirsty, tired, are you kiddin! I PAGED my dr and had him talk to the tech to order the test! I said screw em, they made the mistake, they get a call early!
