do we TTC??
I have a dentist apt 1/19/06 for a consultation on getting a deep cleaning this will involve me to have novican and maybe some sweet gas
should we still TTC?? Or hold off till I am done with the process that may take atleat 2-3 months????

If you are supposed to be BDing now, then you would know before your appointment if you are PG in which case you could cancel. I dont think a dentist would use novocaine within the first three months of a pregnancy. I vaguely remember my dentist saying that to me. But I could be wrong.

I know I am not PG right now AF just left
BUT should be still try is my ???
Or just hold off till its all over
In trying to me doesnt mean it will happen right away but you never do know.......

I say go for it. Unless your dental work involves a root canal or something that will seriously affect the structure (or health) of your mouth if you dont address it immediately, why not?

I wouldnt miss a month personally.
Agreed. DH and I are preparing for what may be AI but we still have one month to go. If we get lucky, then we wont have to go through what could be the first of many procedures.

I had a terrible toothache for 3 days several weeks ago only to find out I had a cavity on my wisdom tooth.
Unfortunatelly, I had TTC and was not sure if I was PG. It turned out I was. Dentist told me they would not touch it in doubt and gave me a prescription for the infection. They try not to do any dental work until 2nd trimester. I am now 14.5 wks PG. I can't eat on my right side. I worried to have the tooth removed but at the same time, an infection is never good with the baby.
Honestly, I wish I had taken care of it prior to being PG.

Even in the chance you are a week or 2 post conception at your appt., I wouldn't let this stop you from TTC for the simple fact that for the first several weeks, you do not share a blood supply with your little one as there is no mom-placenta-baby link just yet. You don't want to be in pain later with nothing to take safely.
