Re: fish
It depends on what type of fish it is. You can't eat shark, swordfish, king macakarel, tile fish, tuna steak, orange roughy, Spanish macakarel, marlin, and grouper.

Re: fish
Every doctor is different - mine says no tuna at all but everything else on the list should be perfectly fine as long as it is cooked and not sushi

Re: fish
My dr. said tuna and shrimp are fine in moderation. You would need to eat it everyday for the amnt of mercury in it to affect the baby.

Re: fish
Shrimp actually has low levels of mercury. I had a whole list that was given to me by my doctor (by some organization) when I first became pregnant of what fish was safe to eat and which wasn't. Shrimp was considered to have low mercury levels. There's also a website on this. I'll try to find it and post it.
Edited for websites: I found the brochure. This is from the FDA's food safety website:
www.cfsan.fda.gov
This is from the Environmental Protection Agency's Fish Advisory Website:
www.epa.gov/ost/fish
Both were in that aforementioned brochure that I received from my OB about pregnant women and fish - from the FDA and EPA.
