Ovulated late
If you ovulated late-does that mean your AF would come at a later date too? So confused......

Re: Ovulated late
From what I understand, for the most part (and this is 100% true with me) I get AF 2 weeks from the day I ovulate...so my answer to you would be yes. But everyone is different. I am lucky in that I can count on that every month.

Re: Ovulated late
Your 2WW or luteal phase should be pretty consistent - so yes, you would get AF later. For most, your O date can vary, but your luteal phase shouldn't. So if last month you O'd on CD12 and your LP is 14 days, then you'd get your period on CD26. This month, if you O'd on CD14 - you'd get AF around CD28. Hope that makes sense!

Here's another silly question...can I count backwards from the first day of my period to figure out when I ovulated?

Yes....It is called Luteal Phase which should be same each month....so let's sat your LP is 14 days then that means that you will get your AF 14 days from O day...no matter which day it was on...so if one month you O on CD15 then 14 days later you should get your AF...if the next month you O on CD18 then you should get your AF 14 days later....
Your LP should not change from month to month, but your O could.....most woman don't O on the same day each month.....

Re: Ovulated late
So now I am confused. I get my AF around the 19th and she's late. I ovulated btw the 8th-10th I went thru all my symtoms ie breaking out, the EWCM everything like clock work-this all happens the week before my AF..so I think my luteral phase is short like 10 days since my symptoms are so consistent each month--is that possible..She is just never late-earlier but not in so many years ever late--
