To all who have cats...
If we are TTC, is it safe to clean the litter box??? I thought it was just when you are actually PG that you shouldn't. TIA!

You have to figure that there are probably tons of people who didn't know they were pg and still doing it so I can't imagine it being horrible... But sine you are probably being extra cautious with everything these days... Tell DH it's his new job!! GOOD LUCK!!

It's a personal choice. I cleaned my cat box with gloves and a mask. I have in & out door cats so that makes a difference as well.

my husband has always been the one cleaning the litter box so we didnt have a problem with that... but if you have to do it wear gloves and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards...

I have a cat and when I spoke to my dr, he assured me that since my cat has always been an inside cat, that there were no worries. I try to have my husband clean the litter, but sometimes, it is not possible. So when I clean, I wear gloves and wash my hands afterward. Hope that helps!
