got the IL's to leave for a few days but I am sure they will return. I am still at my moms but plan to return home this weekend. Got a question though...everything out of their defensice mouths at this moment is "its not about me and dh its about the baby"...Ok, well the baby cant talk or make her own decisions so when I tell you to not snap a red light flash in her face while shes sleeping and you laugh in mine and dhs face...is it still about the baby? I dont know if its selfish but IMO its about me, dh and the baby...you need to respect us all or I throw you out. any opinions?

My opinion is that nothing you say will be right according to your inlaws. You do what's best for your family and if she ever tells you that it's not about you and dh again, you tell her, "You're right, it's about our new family. The THREE of us." And drop it. They seem impossible. Just enjoy your alone time, my dear!
