Absolutely!!! I have been craving it like crazy and giving in to that craving very often!! It is a wonderful delicacy, perfect to spoil pregnant gals like us.
Salmon is actually very good for you! Just make sure you get it from a trusted store so it is fresh and of high quality

Like with deli meats it can have listeria (unless it is canned and most smoked salmon isn't) so if your doctor says no deli meats I would avoid it - otherwise take the same precautions you would if you eat a sandwich

It is actually NOT cooked so you have to be careful with smoked meat or fish. Just like sushi.

Well, I think it depends on where you are coming from.
But sushi is actually RAW fish. Smoked slamon is not raw, it is smoked, which is a cooking method.
As long as you know the place you are buying it from, it should be fine. I eat it a lot and always get it from the same Russian deli I have been going to for years. I would never buy it from a place I am not familiar with, especially now.
