Place a website on here for a company you are an independent consultant for?? I'm an independent consultant for a stationary company that makes cards and lables personalized to your family and would love to share my link. It has some cute Xmas stuff and things for moms. I just don't want to get in trouble. TIA

As per the Rules above:
Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services for any commercial purpose, or engage in surveys, contests, or chain letters.
However I've seen many people offer to sell goods on here for commercial purposes. I see no difference between telling someone what you do for a living, posting that your DH is a contractor, posting all of your Ebay items or that you're starting your own business & giving the website's name.
As long as that's not your sole purpose of posting here, then I would say go for it. I would also look into what it takes to be a vendor on the board.
