Got to love Alexa, my student
I teach high school and have this one female student who asked me yesterday if I would be interested in all of her old Disney movies for the babies. I said sure figuring she would just forget and I'd never see them.
Today she comes into class with a shopping bag filled with videos... Pete's Dragon, Anastatia, 101 Dalmations, Aladdin, Peter Pan and sing along videos.
Funny things is I am usually very anti-Disney because they totally rewrite history and I have to undue everything my students learned Not a fan for other reasons as well.
But a Mommy has to be able to take a shower
Who says high school kids aren't generous?

OMG i'm a hs teacher as well and that has to be one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. Teenagers get a bad rap sometimes. I'm glad you'll be able to take a shower in peace!!

that was really sweet!!
i'm a teacher in a high school with pregnant and parenting teens and they are all so anxious to see me pregnant-i can't wait to tell them the news in a couple more weeks!!!

That is so sweet! I had a student stop by today who asked when my last day was- She said her and her Dad were discussing what to get the baby since I helped her so much last year.
They can be so wonderful!
I say this as I am supposed to be writing a million letters of rec and doing college apps and have no desire.
