too much bd'ing

Is it a bad idea to bd every day? Just don't know when I am going to ovulate and I don't want to miss it! Chat Icon

Re: too much bd'ing

go for it-

not unless DH has confirmed sperm issues

IMO- evryday increases your chances if you arent exactly sure when your ovulating

Re: too much bd'ing

That's a good question, because my DH starts to complain if we do it everyday for a few days, he tells me that he is "empty"......I know he is probably the only man in the world complaining about getting it everyday.....Chat Icon

Re: too much bd'ing

By bd'ing every other day gives the spermies some strength, rememer that they live min. 24 hours so the day you are skipping you still have spermies there.

This is only necessary of your DH has motility or sperm issues.

If he's otherwise healthy and OK, go for the everyday thing!!

Well there are no issues that I am aware of, so I guess I am going to be a busy girl! Chat Icon

DH and I "did it" every chance we got the week I ovulated...some nights he got home too late or we were just literally tired, but the situation seemed to work itself out b/c we got our BFP Chat Icon

Re: too much bd'ing

As long as he doesn't have low sperm count or something else, you should be fine. I read somewhere that it can be worse to "hold out" b/c you can get "old" ineffective sperm when you do. They make new sperm rather quickly so it's not likely he'll run out. Women are the ones with a set number of ovaries, we don't keep making new eggs.
