I'm bad..I did it..let's see what happens
Ok, so please don't criticize me if you don't 100% agree with what I did.
So I posted that I went to the DR and am only 1 cm which I have been for 3 weeks. However, I have been contracting regularly since Friday night.
My brother and father leave Wednesday morning to go away and my inlaws leave wednesday night to go away as well.
I have a strong feeling that I will go this weekend while they are away. I really don't care if my inlaws are there  but I really want my brother and dad to be near.
So I went to Vitamin Shoppe and just bought Castor Oil. I have been reading a lot on it and figured its worth the shot.
About 10 min ago I drank 2 oz followed by about 3 glasses of coke. I guess now we will see what happens.
The lady at vitamin shoppe said be prepared to have this baby tonight if you do this. I am.
Keep your fingers crossed that I don't suffer to much and hopefully you don't see me online tonight/tomorrow and in a few days my
 is here!

Oh I hope you are okay
Make sure you drink lots of water! you could get dehydrated from loss of fluid from pooping.
I hope it works, and just doesn't make you real sick.

well the good thing is I didn't eat a lot today and a little TMI but I went already .
I'm going to switch to water now just so I have something else going in.

it was yucky..but it could be worse. i think it was more thick than anything but i handled it pretty well. i didn't give myself a second to breathe after swallowing it i just started drinking lots of coke ( i had a bunch of glasses filled and ready to go)

My sister keeps telling me her friend swears by this - but I am too chicken to do it yet (give me another week I might change my tune). I'm curious to see how it goes for you, keep us posted and GOOD LUCK!! I hope you meet your little one soon!! :)

Update:
It is an hour after I took 2 oz and I am starting to feel some contraction like cramps. Nothing too painful yet, but the types of contractions I was feeling all weekend. Maybe this is the start.

It's been 2 hours any updates?
still feeling slight cramping. Haven't had any "bathroom" issues yet. They say between 2-4 hours for something to happen.
I'm patiently waiting to see if its going to work!

I searched my posts..
Here's how it went down for me:)
I was given the reciepe by my midwife. Dh went to Walgreens and pick up the Castor Oil. I have also seen it at supermarkets. Once you know what your looking for you'll notice lots of places have it.
It really takes a small amount. I took mine @ 10:30pm approx and by Midnight I was calling L&D at started pushing at 2pm (10cm) 5:17pm I had my son.
My clinic would not induce and my husband was getting ready to deploy . I was having labor pains frequently that would be 5 minutes apart and would go on for hours and just end. Was basically fully effaced and 2cm before I drank my cocktail and it was a full moon.
