New Orleans - how many days?
We have to be in Biloxi,MS for an event on a Friday, and want to spend a few days beforehand in New Orleans. Can head to NO the prior Sunday, Monday or Tues - how many days to really get to see most of what there is to see in NO?

If you don't sleep in until 11-12 and drink all day/night, 3 days is good.

New Orleans - how many days?
3. We did one day just walking around French quarter, one day on a tour of the Katrina affected areas and tour of two plantations (Laura and oak alley) and then final day on magazine st and more just exploring.

I enjoyed their ghost tours at night, piano bars, a crocodile boat ride and I ended up walking myself through the cemetery, French quarter (cafe du monde itself should take a few hours), riverside and the aquarium (without kids and still nice). Loved eating there!!!
I could fill up 2-4 days easy. Focus on dinner reservations and bars. One of my fav memories was getting rabbit gumbo cooked in a bar backyard.
