Email subject help
Im looking to relocate to a new state and am researching my job field in some different cities. I found a small firm that I really relate to and I'd love to speak with the owner for a few min just to ask a some questions about the area. I have the email written to ask if it's ok to call etc but am totally at a loss as to what to use as a subject. Anything I write looks/sounds like spam! Any ideas??

Email subject help
I would use something simple "Questions about (Company Name)" "Job opportunities in you area"
Or I would even get the phone number for the company and call.

Re: Email subject help
I would just cold call the firm. You get human contact and hopefully good interaction without wondering if your e-mail was ever read. I can't think of a good subject line that doesn't come across as spam or phishing sounding.

Thanks, I'm thinking maybe just calling without emailing is a better idea.

Re: Email subject help
I'd call first, let them know what you're trying to do and then ask if they'd prefer you send a more detailed email. But maybe they will speak to you over the phone right then and there and you'll find out everything you need.
IME, if it's a small firm it's very likely you'll get a good response.
