Getting back in shape!
Hey all,
I'm back after what feels like forever! I've really let myself go over the last year and I'm trying my best to get back on track.
I had a great streak for a few years after my first LO, but ever since baby #2 I've been pretty lazy about taking care of myself. I had a lot of success taking of weight a few years back using Beachbody's P90X program so I decided to use this free trial for their new P90X3: https://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/p90x3-streaming-online.do
Today was my first day and I am WORN OUT, but it feels good to have done it. Now I just have to worry about chasing the kids around after school later
Anyone else getting back on that horse after a long downtime? Would love some encouragement from others who are struggling

Re: Getting back in shape!
I'm in the same situation with letting myself go minus the baby - I just ate like an animal I came back from a trip decided to get back to my desired weight. I worked out three days this week and planning on going this morning after I drop my son off at play practice.
Congrats on kickstarting your journey to taking care of yourself.

Should we start a weight loss thread? Spring Shred?

Re: Getting back in shape!
perfect time to see this thread.
since i moved to california, i let myself go. i thought i had it under control and could do what i wanted... i got cocky.
this month, there is a walk challenge at work that's a fund raiser for rails to trails. this has helped to light the fire under me to get me going.
yesterday, i went to a running store and bought a real pair of running shoes. today, i did week 1, day 1 of C25K... back to the beginning.
i am sssssoooooo tired but i feel so great for finally getting out there and doing it.
i'm even toying with the idea of a "bubble run" 5k to keep me motivated and commited.

Re: Getting back in shape!
Is anyone else still going to stick to eating good tomorrow with the storm?
I won't be drinking and will not eat junk. I went to kickboxing just in case I won't be able to go tomorrow. I may try to work out at home if I'm not busy for work.
We should start a shred thread.
