annoying sounds
A grown woman should not suck up the last teeny drop of liquid thru a straw, making that really annoying slurping/sucking sound.
Not once, not twice, but THREE freaking times.
Are you that stupid that you can't figure out your cup is empty ?
Vent over.

Ha! I just did this, do you work in my office? I did it and then was like "WTF am I doing?!?!"...was absentmindedly clicking around looking for a document.
For me:
The sound of crinkling paper or plastic bags in an elevator.
Chewing.
Sniffling.
Sighing in an elevator. Hate when people do that. Like thanks for filling this box I happen to be in with the smell of your rotting insides.

For me it's gum cracking/snapping. I had a coworker who did it that I practically shared a desk with. All day. Every day. It really made me insane.

I can't stand when people make sounds when eating. DD does it sometimes and I yell at her for it.
And I might be the only person who hates the sound of people whistling.

Mine eats with his mouth open, slurps everything, smacks his lips, and lately has taken to grunting when he eats.
Part caveman ? I blame his mother for not teaching him table manners.
He gets mad when I get annoyed and eat in a different room.
Office chick is just loud in general. We call her "Slurpy" so this isn't a one time thing.

Teeth scraping a fork (DH does this a lot and I told him he will only be able to eat with plastic if he keeps it up)
The sound of a Fork scraping a dish
The slurping sound that DH makes when taking the smallest sip of his hot coffee in the morning. He does it every single morning and it makes me insane
Dripping water will turn me into a basket case
Excessive throat clearing. This sound only bothers me in a quiet setting. Sometimes, if I've been sick, I clear my throat a lot. So I get it. Sometimes you just have to. But when it's quiet and someone is doing it over and over and over. I want to scream JUST COUGH IT UP ALREADY!! TAKE AN ANTIHISTAMINE OR SOMETHING FOR CHRIST SAKE
Hmmmmmm as I type this I am realizing I may need to take several chill pills lol

This just made me literally LOL! I hold my breath in the elevator and will pass the f out before breathing in that germ filled air. I have gotten light headed and had to breath through my shirt. I get looks. I don't care. People are disgusting

Same here! Whistling is awful. I used to sit near a woman at work who was very high up and whistled constantly, it made me completely insane! Luckily my office space was moved after a couple of years.

I cannot stand background music when I'm sitting around talking with friends or playing a game. I know most people like it, but it makes me shiver lol.
I have mild hearing loss, so I imagine that it has something to do with it...harder for me to hear what is happening I suppose.
